When April 2026 started, Sega confirmed it would celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Sakura Wars (Sakura Taisen) series in various ways, with merchandise being one, and now it showed a Luminasta Sakura Shinguji figure will be part of that. It will launch as an arcade prize in September 2026 in Japan. There’s no worldwide release window yet, but the Sega Luminasta figures are sold worldwide on its Amazon storefront and via Crunchyroll worldwide after their Japanese debuts.
As this is a prize figure, this is a non-scale figure. It will stand at over six and a half inches tall (17cm). Sakura Shinguji will wear her outfit from the original Sakura Wars for this figure, and the pose is designed to make it look like she is attacking with her Arataka sword.
Here’s how that figure will look.

While not part of every entry in the series, the Imperial Combat Revue’s Flower Division warrior and performer appeared as a major character in the first two games and fourth one, as well as some spin-offs like the Columns game. She appeared in the earliest manga and anime adaptations of the titles as well.
The Sakura Wars Sakura Shinguji Luminasta figure will launch in September 2026 in Japan, and we’ll likely see it appear worldwide shortly after that. It’s unknown what other plans Sega has for the series’ 30th anniversary.
