Flip Wars Comes To The Nintendo Switch In North America

Flip Wars, the final version of the Project Mekuru competitive game that was announced during the April 12, 2017 Nintendo Direct, is now available in North America. The $9.99 title pits up to four players against one another in offline and online battles. There are 12 different arenas, each with four layouts.

In Flip Wars, your goal is to have the most panels in the arena that are your color. This is done by smashing down to flip them. You can also attack other players to keep them from flipping panels to their own color. There are three different game modes currently available, Panel Battle, Time Battle, and Life Battle. The first involves having the most panels before time runs out, the second is about knocking out the most opponents, and the third is a survival mode where you aim to be the last player standing. Tutorials are also available, so you can learn how to play before competing.

North America is the last region to get Flip Wars. It first appeared in Japan as Battle Sports Mekuru on May 18, 2017, before coming to Europe on July 6, 2017.
