Sony put six more PsOne games on the PlayStation Store including G-Darius from Taito. The arcade port is a prequel to the Darius series where the skies are populated with metallic marine creatures, this time rendered in 3D. Unfortunately, you need a PSP to play the horizontal, mini-boss stealing shooter since it isn’t PS3 compatible. Bomberman: Fantasy Race is, but aside from replacing kangaroos with go karts Hudson’s racing game is rather generic. Carom Shot 2 sounds mildly more interesting. The concept puts players in the shoes of an amateur pool hustler competing with an eclectic blend of opponents. One of them bares resemblance to Hollywood's idea of Frankenstein’s monster.
Here is what’s new this week. Each game costs 600 yen ($5).
