torinohoshi1.jpgIn development for the Playstation 2 is a unique take on the flight sim genre. Tori no Hoshi: Aerial Planet tells the story of Hugo, the son of an interplanetary biologist, who is separated from his father's research team on an unknown planet. Hugo wakes up from his lifepod to discover the planet is mostly ocean. Using his trusty glider Hugo flies with the birds to survive and search for his spaceship. Time and weather exist in the world of Aerial Planet. Hugo will have to fly in the dark and brave thunderstorms while he follows the birds. Tori no Hoshi: Aerial Planet is due out in Japan this fall and there are no announcements about a North American release date yet.
