Over My Dead Body expands on the multi-generation system found in games like Record of Agarest War and Phantasy Star III. In this PSP game, your characters only live two years because their entire bloodline has been cursed by a demon. Defeating the demon is the goal of the game, but the first group of heroes won’t do it. Their great-great-great-great-great (maybe great-er?) descendants will.

The game’s unique concept made it a cult classic when it was released for PsOne in Japan. To much Twitter fanfare, Sony greenlit a PSP remake, which will be released in Japanese stores and as a PlayStation Network download on November 10. A limited edition bundle includes the game, wrist strap, soft case, and cleaning cloth (with pictures some of the game’s gods) for 6,980 yen ($90). A standalone game will retail for 4,980 yen ($65).
