Sega is hoping Nintendo 3DS owners catch Puyo Puyo fever with a scaled down Nintendo eShop version called Puyo Puyo Mini.

For just 300 yen ($3.75), Puyo Puyo Mini packs a good amount of content. You get three rule sets: classic, Puyo Puyo Tsuu, and Puyo Puyo Fever plus the new pair mode and Ringo’s story route.

 

Sega tried a similar strategy with Phantasy Star Zero by releasing Phantasy Star Zero Mini as a cheap 200 yen Nintendo DSi download.
