Free Celeste DLC Chapter 9: Farewell Is “Coming Soon”

Matt Makes Games posted on Twitter earlier this week that the upcoming free DLC for Celeste, titled ‘Chapter 9: Farewell’, will be coming soon.

The update featured a new screenshot from the DLC, and also mentioned that just the porting process is left before the DLC is ready to go. The DLC is set to add new story elements and harder levels to the game, although there will not be any strawberries to collect, nor a B-side. There will instead by a new mechanic and items that Madeline can use.

Celeste is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The free DLC ‘Chapter 9: Farewell” is “coming soon.”
