The Tenchu license holder plans to port six PlayStation 2 games to PSP in the next twelve months. Tenchu 3 Portable (aka Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven) has some new features like the a sheet that looks like a wall and the ability to drag bodies. It’s been awhile since I played it, but I believe the latter feature was added into the Xbox port Tenchu: Return From Darkness.

From Software played with porting down games with the release of Tenchu: Shadow Assassins which was announced as a Wii game and later ported to the PSP.

Here’s the list of From Software ports which includes a game not developed by them! Genki, creators of the Kengo series, are the original developers of Fu-un Shinsengumi.

Armored Core 3 Portable – July 30
Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven Portable – August
Armored Core Silent Line Portable – November
Fu-un Shinsengumi Portable – December
Tenchu: Kurenai Portable (aka Tenchu: Fatal Shadows) – January 2010
Armored Core Last Raven Portable – March 2010

Each PS2 port will be sold for 3,990 yen ($40), a slight cut below the cost of average PSP game in Japan.
