Front Mission remade for the DS

Square-Enix has Front Mission 1^st in the works for the Nintendo DS. The game is a remake of the original Front Mission title, which was released back on the Super Famicom in 1995 and remade on the Wonderswan Color in 2002. But the Nintendo DS version is based off of the Playstation remake done in 2003. Anyway, North America never saw the light of Front Mission 1. Like future entries in the series Front Mission 1^st is a mecha strategy RPG. There are customizable walking tanks called Wanzers with broad customization options. Each piece of your mech can be altered and built from scratch. Besides dual screen support and touch screen controls Front Mission 1^st adds in a character from Front Mission 5.
