Cygames updated Umamusume: Pretty Derby and added Fuji Kiseki as the newest Trainee as the first addition to the October 2025 schedule. The new Support Card banner featuring the Winning Pitch: Mejiro Ryan SSR Guts card also showed up on October 2, 2025. Both the card and character will join the general pool after their banners end on October 10, 2025.

Fuji Kiseki has a Takarazuka Revue style appearance who is designed to be a Pace Chaser who runs Mile races on Turf. However, because she has B ratings in Sprint and Medium, she could very easily run either of those if you use inheritances to get the ranks up. Her growth rate bonuses prioritize Power and Wit. She arrives knowing the Lights of Vaudeville Unique Skill that increases her velocity on the final straight. If you invest in her, you can also get the Big-Sisterly skill to increase her passing ability on Mile races and Race Planner to decrease her fatigue as a Pace Chaser mid-race in any kind of race.

While the English Umamusume: Pretty Derby trailer introducing Fuji Kiseki isn’t live yet, you can watch the Japanese one below:

The other Trainee banner involves fantasy alts of El Condor Pasa and Grass Wonder. That ends on October 4, 2025, but they’ll be in the general pool for the Fuji Kiseki banner too.

As for the Winning Pitch: Mejiro Ryan SSR Gits card, it is notable for its Unyielding skill. It helps with passing ability on Medium races. The card also can get Specialty Priority 50, to ensure she appears on Guts training, and a Winning Pitch level 30 perk to grant a power and skill point bonus.

Here’s how the card and character look:

Umamusume: Pretty Derby is available on both the PC and mobile devices, and Fuji Kiseki debuts as a Trainee in-game on October 2, 2025.
