Full blown Wii Yoga coming next year

Wii Fit (pictured) was a taste of Yoga with Sun Salutations and Downward Facing Dog. If you want to practice Uttanasana with the Balance Board you’re out of luck. Given the influx of Yoga training games on the Nintendo DS someone had to create Wii Yoga, but I never imagined JoWood would be behind it. This was the company funding a Stargate SG-1 game for the PlayStation 2 that never saw the light of day.

Wii Yoga will be the first in a series of lifestyle products developed by JoWood for the Wii and it won’t come out until Q2 2009 in Europe. Until then keep practicing the Cobra pose with Wii Fit without cheating and using your hands.
