Fullmetal Alchemist movie set to premiere at Anime Expo

Anime Expo is going to be the home of a movie world premiere this year! On July 3rd (12:00 – 2:00 PST) they are going to show Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shamballa in English. The feature flick takes place at the end of the Fullmetal Alchemist series where Edward Elric is trapped in our world while Alphonse is in his home world. Edward studies rocketry in hopes of finding a path back to his world, but when he steps in to rescue a Gypsy girl Edward gets wrapped up in a mess that can cause both worlds to collide. Like most movie premieres the event is going to be full of stars. The English voice actor for Edward Elric, Vic Mignogna, and the Japanese voice actress, Romi Paku will be attending the event. Also the Japanese movie director Seiji Mizushima, U.S. dub director Mike McFarland and Masahiko Minami the president of Studio Bones will be at the event. Fans of the series will get a chance to ask the guests of honor quests at the end of the screening. If you miss this premiere select theaters will be showing Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shamballa starting September 8, 2006.
