While Sony Computer Entertainment has not addressed rumors about Fumito Ueda’s departure, the creator of the Last Guardian assured fans he is still working on the PlayStation 3 game.
"Recently, I have been getting a lot of questions… don’t worry, as usual, I’m still working hard on The Last Guardian," Ueda tweeted. Ueda also reminded fans that December 6 is the tenth anniversary of Ico. He did not comment on rumors about being a freelancer in his Twitter feed.
Ueda was supposed to meet with press and show The Last Guardian at Game Developer’s Conference, but plans were canceled at the last minute.
