Gachiakuta: Breakout Turns the Anime to a Game in 2027

As part of the 2026 Tokyo Game Show reveals, Com2Us shared a 2027 release window for the Gachiakuta: Breakout adaptation of the anime and manga. That action-RPG will be showing up on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and there’s also a new trailer highlighting gameplay and a few members of the cast who will appear.

As you’d expect from the gameplay footage, the video focuses on showing members of The Cleaners look in a fight. Things start with Team Akuta members Rudo, Enjin, Zanka, and Riyo running into a fight. (She’s all the way in the background.) We then see the footage focus on specific characters as they unleash their Vital Instruments. During the main gameplay reveal portion, we see a fight against Jaber Wonger.

Here’s the new TGS 2026 Gachiakuta: Breakout trailer showing off gameplay.

This latest game announcement comes alongside a lot of other Gachiakuta reveals tied to the anime and manga. A second season of the show is in development, for example. Kodansha will also be releasing volume 12 of the manga in English on September 22, 2026.

Gachiakuta: Breakout will come to the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2027. Kodansha handles the Gachiakuta manga, and the anime adaptation is streaming on Crunchyroll.
