Gachiakuta Game and Season 2 of Anime Announced

As part of the December 2025 Jump Festa reveals, we learned season 2 of the Gachiakuta anime and a game based on the series are both on the way. The show teaser is quite brief and appeared on social media, continuing a series already streaming on Crunchyroll. As for the game, Com2uS is working on an action-RPG for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

In the case of the show, we don’t know exactly what season 2 of the Gachiakuta anime will cover yet or when it will air. The social media reveal just included two pieces of teaser art. Kei Urana and Hideyoshi Ando both seem to be involved again.

As for the game, it will follow Rudo and his allies as they explore and survive in The Pit. They’ll use their Vital Instruments to attack monsters to complete various missions as part of The Great Cleanup. The first trailer showed one of the monsters they’ll face and confirmed Rudo, Enjin, Riyo Reaper, and Zanka Nijiku.

The Gachiakuta anime first season is streaming on Crunchyroll, with season 2 confirmed. Gachiakuta: The Game is in development for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The manga is handled by Kodansha.
