Two Inti Creates games are getting new characters this week. On April 23, 2018, the DLC Character Set: Heroines was released for Gal Gunvolt Burst on the PlayStation 4. Then, on April 24, 2018, the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch’s Mighty Gunvolt Burst will get the DLC Character: Tenzou add-on.

The Gal Gunvolt Burst DLC Character Set: Heroines will be $4.99 and, like the Rivals add-on that appeared when the game launched, adds three more playable characters. Azure Striker Gunvolt’s Joule can use Anthem to allow her to temporarily equip as many abilities as she would like or her songs to use different kinds of bullets to attack opponents. Gal Gun’s Tenzou fires Pheromone Shots with the help of Blaster Goggles, while also occasionally calling upon Ekoro and Patako for Angelic Guidance or Doki Doki Mode. Finally, Mighty No. 9’s Call is a character who collects Patch robots to help her attack and can use a barrier to protect herself.

Gal Gun’s Tenzou will be $1.99 when he is added to Mighty Gunvolt Burst and joins as version 1.4 of the game is released. He functions similarly to his Gal Gunvolt Burst counterpart. He usually runs around with Patako trailing behind. Ekoro can come in to fly him up with Angelic Guidance. When triggered, Patako can start a Doki Doki Mode that gives you a temporary reticle to target specific enemies with your Pheromone Shots.

Gal Gunvolt Burst is available for the PlayStation 4, while people can find Mighty Gunvolt Burst on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS.
