Game Informer has shared the latest part of their month of Pokémon coverage. Previously, Game Freak discussed how they approach designing Pokémon, as well as how they hope to meet fans’ expectations with a Pokémon game on the Nintendo Switch.
In this newest piece, they interview Game Freak’s Shigeru Ohmori and Junichi Masuda to discuss the importance of story in the Pokémon games. Masuda and Ohmori also touched on if they would ever make an entry in the Pokémon series as open as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
