Game Freak took to social media to promise it will fix and address issues with the Beast of Reincarnation camera and font size, and it also put out a call for additional feedback on the game. Both of the additions will be a part of the next patch for the new game. There’s no exact launch date for it, but the company said it expects it “within a week.” That means we should see the patch by August 15, 2026.

The camera and font size changes are two of at least five adjustments that will come in the Beast of Reincarnation planned patch. The exact viewpoint adjustments weren’t mentioned. However, we do know the text will be easier to read and larger after the update. It also noted the default will be Performance that targets 60fps and a lower resolution going forward, rather than the Cinematic option that runs at around 30fps, give or take, in exchange for a better resolution. The statement also mentioned the first of multiple story pacing adjustments as well as other unspecified bug fixes.

As for reporting additional issues and feedback, Game Freak directed people to the Fictions support page. People could leave notes via the Submit a Request section at the top of the page. That will also be the site to turn to for additional issues and patch notes.

Beast of Reincarnation is on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the next patch will arrive the week of August 9, 2026.
