So we’ve seen many different themes from the Nintendo 3DS’ Simple DL Series’ escape adventure games, but the latest one, titled The Cursed School: Curse of The Mask And Twin Girls shares plenty of similarities with the Fatal Frame games.

The game is set in an abandoned school, where the protagonist wakes up and doesn’t have any recollection of his past. After searching around the school, he meets two girls, both wearing ominous masks.

If the masks weren’t creepy enough, the girls say that they can’t take them off. To make matters worse, they also say that the school is completely closed, and there isn’t a single exit in the building.

Worst of all, they say that there’s also a frightening female teacher that goes around attacking others as a way to keep them trapped in their world…

Your objective is to look around for strange items and hints around the school, as a way to find a way out; however, it isn’t as simple as it sounds, as there are all kinds of spooky events that will get in the way. There are also malicious spirits that float around the area, and you’ll have a camera, similar to the Fatal Frame games, that can be used to protect yourself from their evil intentions.

If you can manage to find the right keys, clues, and fend off spirits, you’ll eventually solve the mystery behind the cursed school and the masked twin girls.

The Cursed School: Curse of The Mask And Twin Girls is currently available in Japan on the Nintendo 3DS eShop for 520 yen.
