Gendo Ikari Nendoroid Will Include Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Spoilers

Good Smile Company opened the pre-order window for its upcoming Nendoroid of Gendo Ikari from the Rebuild of Evangelion series. The chibi action figure set will feature references from all four movies, including a major spoiler from a climactic scene in Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time.

When Good Smile Company shared an unpainted prototype image of Gendo’s Nendoroid in November 2023, it simply showed the character with his regularly known glasses. The full sample gallery reveals that the set will include the visor that Gendo wears in Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo and a face plate that constitutes a major spoiler from the final movie.

The package will come with a chair and desk that lets the owner replicate Gendo’s iconic sitting pose. People who place orders on the Good Smile Online Shop can also receive an exclusive NERV base.

Some of the sample images for this Nendoroid are available to view right below. The image that includes the major spoiler for Evangelion 3.0+1.0 is viewable on Good Smile Company’s storefront. The chibi action figure will be available in North America at $47.99 and in the rest of the world at Â¥7,200 / €49.90.

One of the sample images also shows the SEELE voice slabs that let people recreate the conference scene. However, these items are not included in the Nendoroid set. The acrylic stands are available separately as a full set at ¥5,500 / $36.99, or individually with a random number at ¥990 / $6.99.

Good Smile Company will close pre-orders for the Rebuild of Evangelion Gendo Ikari Nendoroid on March 14, 2024. The chibi action figure will be formally available in Japan in November 2024 and North America in Q2 2025.

At the same time, Good Smile Company has also opened pre-orders for the newly restocked Nendoroids of Rei Ayanami (tentative), Asuka Shikinami Langley, and Mari Makinami Illustrious. All of them have the same price tag of $38.99, and the company will ship them to North America in Q1 2025.
