Genshin Impact 1.6 Release Date Set for Early June

On May 28, 2021, miHoYo announced the Genshin Impact 1.6 release date will be June 9, 2021. This falls in line with other updates, as it will happen right after Eula’s banner and other events ended. The theme this time will be Midsummer Island Adventure. To go along with that, we’ll go to an archipelago, aid Klee on an adventure, get swimwear for Barbara and Jean, and have a chance to recruit Kazuha, the first playable character from Inazuma.

First, the featured five-stars that will appear after the Genshin Impact 1.6 release date will be Klee and Kazuha. The former return and be a part of a Dodo-King adventure. Her goal will be to protect her fluffy toy, Dodoco, from it in Dodoland. Completing challenges will help you get items and a Dodoco Tales four-star catalyst. As for Kazuha, he’ll show up in the Archon Quest with Beidou that will explain how Aether/Lumine gets from Liyue to Inazuma. Should people pull for the character, they’ll get a five-star who uses a sword and is an Anemo Vision holder. He can attack and buff his allies.

Other additions will show up as well. The first skins in the game will also appear. People will be able to earn Summertime Sparkle for Barbara during Echoing Tales. With Jean, people can buy  Sea Breeze Dandelion from the shop. (You do have to have both characters in-game to apply the outfit to them.) You’ll also be able to set characters you own in your Serenitea Pot. They will then hang out and increase Character Companionship Experience when you do.

Here’s a new trailer looking at the upcoming update.
