HoYoVerse revealed the Genshin Impact Battle Chronicle will now support widgets for Android and iOS devices. This is a part of the HoYoLAB App version 2.21 update. People who choose to add it can a small or large version of the icon to their mobile device’s screen.
Here are pictures showing how the two Genshin Impact Battle Chronicle widgets could look. With the smaller version, people can see how much Original Resin they have and tap the “check in” link. The larger one mentions someone’s rank level and Original Resin status, while also offering links to check in, go to the interest group, see the version topics page, and head to all tools.
While both of the example images feature Yelan, other examples shared by HoYoVerse include official art of other characters and from past version updates.
The announcement also noted how to add the Genshin Impact Battle Chronicle widget. When adding a widget as normal, searching for HoYoLab will cause the two shortcuts to show up on both Android and iOS devices. On an Android device, someone could also do it while using Battle Chronicle by selecting Real-Time Notes.
Genshin Impact is available for the PS5, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and people can access the Battle Chronicle by logging into the official site. Past Battle Chronicle updates did things like add an Enhancement Progression Tool.
