As we’re getting closer to the 7.0 Genshin Impact update that will also bring the Snezhnaya region and presumably more Fatui Harbingers to the game, HoYoVerse announced a showcase to go over the next patch series. It will air at 5am PT/8am ET on April 24, 2026. People will be able to watch it on YouTube and Twitch, with the former offering an archive later.
This is specifically referred to as “Behind the Scenes of Genshin Impact: To Snezhnaya and the Future.” It doesn’t have the Special Program designation like we saw for the Luna VI (6.6) one that aired in March 2026. This is likely because we are about two updates away from the 7.0 launch. Snezhnaya will be the focus, as we’ve only had hints about the region in previous versions and since arriving in Nod Krai in the Luna (6.0) patches. The teaser image showed a snowy landscape and the icon for the city. It’s unknown if this stream will only focus on the region or if it will also hint at the story.
In the more near future, we do know Luna VII is on the horizon. Since the Luna VI update just arrived on April 8, 2026, it is still a while away. We do know when Luna VII arrives, it will mark the debut of Hexenzirkel’s Nicole, a Hexenzirkel-adjacent character named Prune, and the Knights of Favonius’ Lohen.
Genshin Impact is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices, and the To Snezhnaya and the Future presentation will air at 5am PT/8am ET on April 24, 2026.
