HoYoVerse announced the air date for the next Genshin Impact Special Program stream for the coming Luna V update, and the stream for the new version airs this week. It falls after the State of Play and Silent Hill Transmission presentations on February 12, 2026. We can tune in to learn about the latest additions at 4am PT/7am ET/1pm CET on February 13, 2026.
As usual, the Genshin Impact stream will air on Twitch and YouTube, with the latter featuring on-demand viewing and additional trailers after the showcase airs. These tend to be 20-40 minute presentations. The focus is always on the new storyline additions, with the Nod-Krai Archon Quests coming up again in this one, additional characters, and limited events.
The key art this time around shows that Varka, the Grand Master of Mondstadt’s Knights of Favonius. Based on earlier drip marketing, it seems he will be the sole new character in the update. He’ll be an Anemo character.
At the moment, the Lantern Rite annual event is running in Genshin Impact. That also means there’s a new Liyue character named Zibai who’s available to grab. If you take part before the update, then you can also get a new skin for the four-star character Yao Yao and pick up a free four-star character from the Liyue region.
Genshin Impact is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices, and the Luna V Special Program stream airs at 4am PT/7am ET/1pm CET on February 13, 2026. The update is expected to arrive on February 25, 2026.
