Numerous events themed after Genshin Impact will run in Tokyo and other cities across Japan throughout early 2026. Shortly after the 2026 New Year’s Day, Cognosphere revealed that it will work with Lawson, Family Mart, and Tokyo Tower to hold campaigns based on the Chinese game simply known in Japanese as Genshin.

The Tokyo Tower event for Genshin Impact will launch first on January 16, 2025. It will appear at the Studio Jupiter media center for the first three days until January 18, 2026. Trust Tokyo’s Co・Lab-TOKYO-, on the tower’s 2nd floor, will also host an extended event that runs until February 4, 2026.

The Lawson campaign will be the next one to launch on January 20, 2025. The convenience store chain will particularly work with Meiji to release Meltykiss packages branded with Fontaine-based characters. Purchasing three pieces of select Meiji snacks and candies by February 2, 2026, will also let buyers get a free clear file while supplies last.

The third collaboration event will take place at Family Mart outlets across Japan from early February 2026. While details on this event are still scarce, Cognosphere has published a teaser trailer on the game’s Japanese social media account.

Genshin Impact is readily available as a free-to-play title worldwide on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices. The game used to be available for PlayStation 4 as well, but HoYoVerse delisted it in September 2025.
