The Genshin Impact Special Program offered insights into who people can expect to recruit once the 1.3 update arrives in February 2021. The Genshin Impact Invitation to Mundane Life Xiao banner will begin February 3, 2021. Then, the Dance of the Lanterns Keqing banner will follow on February 17, 2021. There will also be a chance to get one four-star character from Liyue during “Stand by Me.”
First, the Genshin Impact Special Program began with things miHoYo already shared. It started with Barbara’s new video. Then, we saw the general 1.3 trailer. Adventure Rank 23 members can unlock Xiao’s story quest for free, without a key, during the Lantern Rite. After the event, you’ll need a key and to be at AR 32.
The presentation next looked at Xiao, who is voiced by Laila Berzins in English and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka is Japanese. He’s an Anemo Polearm-user who doesn’t take any plunging damage when he attacks. Also, he deals more damage if he jumps from a greater height to attack.
After that, the Genshin Impact program brought up Xiao’s moveset. His Lemniscatic Wind Cycling Elemental Skill has two charges and deals Anemo damage to foes in front of him. His Bane of All Evil Elemental Burst changes him to his Yaksha form. However, when that ability is active and increasing his attack, jump, and range, his health constantly goes down.
As for “Stand by Me,” it will begin on February 18, 2021. Until March 7, 2021, people will have a chance to get one free Liyue four-star character. The options are going to be Beidou (Electro Claymore user), Chongyun (Cryo Claymore user), Ningguang (Geo Catalyst user), Xiangling (Pyro Polearm user), Xingqiu (Hydro Sword user), and Xinyan (Pyro Claymore user).
As expected from a Genshin Impact Special Program, there were also codes for free Primogems and items. Here’s the list of codes given away and what each one offered.
