miHoYo announced a new area will appear in the Genshin Impact 2.4 version update. Enkanomiya is a totally unique area that will feature a dynamic light and day mechanic. It has been designed to challenge Genshin Impact players, as Enkanomiya will feature new environmental puzzles. The developers also revealed that the area will be rich in history, and that players will have plenty to discover and learn about an ancient civilization that once inhabited the area.

New enemies will also appear in the Genshin Impact Enkanomiya area. These new enemies can work together to perform devastating attacks. Abyss Heralds and Abyss Lectors are also two new enemy types that will appear in this new area. The developers stated that while they will provide some challenge, and that even experienced players will need to devise a strategy when attempting to take down these new foes.

This new information was revealed during the Genshin Impact Special Program held through Twitch. It outlined new content that will appear through the 2.4 version update. Enkanomiya won’t be the only new content that will appear in Genshin Impact. A new Interlude Archon Quest will arrive with the update. It will focus on Shenhe, a new character that will be available to obtain through an upcoming banner, and Ninguang. More information regarding the Interlude Archon Quest will appear in the future.

Genshin Impact is available for PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. A Nintendo Switch version is in development.
