Sega and Nintendo are going to be releasing another entry in the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games series this year, with the Nintendo 3DS version already available in Japan. As such, footage has begun popping up showing off some of Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games’ events in greater detail. GoNintendo has put together two videos that show off two of the 14 events in greater detail.

The first Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games video shows Blaze the cat competing in the Equestrian event. This is the Dream version of the event, with enemies from the Super Mario series, like Thwomps, appearing on the course. Blaze, Bowser Jr., Dr. Eggman, Larry, Mario, and Sonic are the only characters that participate in this event.

The Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games Volleyball footage shows Donkey Kong and Tails on a team facing Mario and Cream. This is also a Dream version of the event, with the game being played on a grid where players can attempt to trigger a Bingo. Cream, Donkey Kong, Mario, Roy, Sonic, and Tails are the only characters who can participate in the volleyball events.

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games will come to the Nintendo 3DS on March 18, 2016 in North America and April 8, 2016 in Europe.
