First, let’s look at Kuvshinov‘s art. She created some new portraits of the main characters. Major Motoko Kusanagi, Batou, Purin Ezaki, and a Tachikoma each get their moment in these designs. While most of these characters should look familiar, Purin is making her debut in Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 as a Tachikoma handler.

The Japanese YouTube account has a new trailer offering a better look at the Ghost in the Shell Netflix adaptation. As a reminder, this is a 3DCG series from Production I.G., who also worked on games like Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Persona 5, and Sola Digital Arts.

There will be 12 episodes in the first Ghost in the Shell Netflix season. In addition, a second season was brought up at the 2018 San Diego Comic Con in a Nuke the Fridge interview and has been confirmed by Anime News Network.

Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 will drop on Netflix on April 23, 2020 worldwide.
