What was previously codenamed Gintama: Project Last Game has been officially revealed in this week’s issue of Jump magazine as Gintama Ranbu, an upcoming samurai action game. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]   To be more precise, the game’s genre is listed as samurai “ranbu” action (ranbu meaning dancing mad). The magazine shows how Kagura uses her umbrella to fight with splendid footwork and aerial attacks. Meanwhile, Shinpachi uses a sword in battle. It also looks like Shiroyasha, Gintoki from the Joui War, will be playable.   Places like Kabuki District and the Shinsengumi post are being fully reproduced for the game. So far they say that it looks a lot like what you’d expect from a Gintama Musou-style game.   A release date and pricing has yet to be announced. You can check out a teaser trailer in our previous report.   Gintama Ranbu is in development for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
