The Girl and the Robot, Flying Carpets Games’ Kickstarter-funded action game inspired by Ocarina of Time and ICO is releasing this summer for PC and later this year for PlayStation 4 and Wii U. The game’s Kickstarter page shares the latest along with a new launch trailer.

 

The Girl and the Robot was first Inspired by the thrills of classic games such as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and ICO, along with a dash of wonder and adventure found in animated movies such as those from Studio Ghibli.

The Girl and the Robot is a unique third person action/adventure game set in a fairy tale world. You take on the role of a young girl trying to escape from a castle ruled by an evil queen. On her way, she meets a mysterious robot that can be controlled remotely and together they encounter many challenges that test the strength of their new found friendship.

 

In the latest update of the campaign, Flying Carpets Games mentioned that game’s Steam page is going live soon, which you can already check out here.
