Shift Up’s official social media account, a post on subreddits by SeValentine and Shoddy_Rhubarb_842, and MotherSphere on GitHub shared that the Goddess of Victory: NIKKE PC launcher published by Level Infinite ended up compromised and tampered with by a third party, putting people who use it to play the game at risk of serious damages due to a stealer agent. The companies’ statement said fixes are available and investigations are underway, with more updates planned as they continue work on the situation. [Thanks, MotherSphere on GitHub!]
The MotherSphere GitHub report suggested this Goddess of Victory: NIKKE PC launcher vulnerability appeared on September 27, 2026, could have been present and in-use since October 23, 2026, and explained how to check if you could be infected. The key is to check via opening the debug.log from the Launcher/intl_service folder to see if the k2f_chan agent was registered and started. That also offered suggestions on what to do if you are infected to deal with the issue and recommended people who didn’t open the launcher since this happened delete the tbs_cache folder and not touch it until an all clear is given.
If you are affected or opened the PC launcher for Goddess of Victory: NIKKE during the period, it is possible the stealer agent got downloaded and infected your computer and apps. Some affected programs could include browsers, Discord, and Steam. This could put things like passwords for accounts, payment information, and crypto wallets at risk. Changing passwords and running virus scans is advised. Level Infinite and Shift Up stated further updates on the situation are planned.
Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is available on PCs and mobile devices.
