Godzilla Minus Zero First Teaser Trailer Published

Toho has published new details for its upcoming movie Godzilla Minus Zero, which will also be known as Godzilla-0.0 in Japan. The company also announced that this movie will be the first Japanese-made movie to be Filmed for IMAX.

The new reveals also include the return of Koichi Shikishima and Noriko Oishi from the 2023 Godzilla Minus One. Ryunosuke Kamiki and Minami Hamabe are also confirmed to return to reprise their respective roles.

Toho has also published the first teaser trailer for Godzilla-0.0 on its Toho Movie Channel on YouTube:

Toho also shared how the Godzilla Minus series director Takashi Yamazaki was present at CinemaCon 2026 in Las Vegas to promote the new movie. The company noted that the Japanese director stood on the same stage that previously had Tom Cruise and James Cameron promote Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning and Avatar: Fire and Ash, respectively.

Godzilla Minus Zero will appear as a direct sequel to Godzilla Minus One, with the former’s story taking place two years after the latter’s events. Netflix made Godzilla Minus One available to watch worldwide on its platform in 2024.

Godzilla-0.0 / Godzilla Minus Zero will be available in theaters across Japan on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
