Good Smile Company Will Rerelease the Sonic the Hedgehog Nendoroid

If you weren’t quite fast enough to catch him previously, the Sonic the Hedgehog Nendoroid is now available to pre-order once again. The Blue Blur will cost Â¥5,800 or $50.99, depending on which Good Smile Company storefront someone orders from. It is expected to ship in September 2023 for Japanese store orders or in November 2023 from the US store. Pre-orders will remain open until April 20, 2023.

Previously released in 2012, the Sonic Nendoroid ended up rereleased in 2013 and 2020. He can be posed standing or running. He also comes with several accessories, like a ring, an item box, a checkpoint marker and a chaos emerald. Extra face plates are also included.

You can get a better look at the Sonic Nendoroid in the announcement tweet below:

The Sonic rerelease comes hot on the heels of the announcement of both Tails and Knuckles Sonic the Hedgehog Nendoroids at WonHobby 36. While Good Smile did not provide a firm date for their release, they did provide images of the prototype for Tails’ figure.

Sonic also recently got a merchandise collab with Hololive Vtuber Inugami Korone, who serves as an official ambassador for the brand.

Sonic’s most recent game is Sonic: Frontiers. A demo for the game recently became available worldwide, after previously being a Japan exclusive.

The Sonic the Hedgehog Nendoroid is available for pre-order at the Good Smile Company Japanese store here, or the US store over here.
