Cygames confirmed the Japanese version of Granblue Fantasy will start its Bleach Echoes in the Blue Hollow crossover on July 22, 2026 and confirmed 12 characters who will show up as part of the event. However, there is also a 13th character who is still a mystery and will be revealed once the Interlude #02 event story arrives on July 27, 2026. The whole event will run until August 3, 2026. It features the Thousand Year Blood War versions of the characters to coincide with the final season of that anime adaptation.
There will be two free Bleach characters given away as part of this Granblue Fantasy crossover event. One is Ichigo Kurosaki. He’s earned after Interlude #01 is finished once that is added on July 22, 2026. The second character will be earned by completing Interlude #02 after it shows up on July 27, 2026. Teaser images for both of them appeared, and it sort of looks like the silhouette for the second one could show Yoruichi Shihoin in her Thousand Year Blood War cape while she’s performing either Raioken or Shunko: Raijin Senkei.
A first event summon is also confirmed. Three characters will be part of that. The options will be Byakuya Kuchiki, Kenpachi Zaraki, and Mayuri Kurotsuchi. We also know that Toshiro Hitsugaya, Rangiku Matsumoto, Nemu Kurotsuchi, Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck, Pesche Guatiche, Dondochakka Birstanne, and Bawabawa will all appear.

Granblue Fantasy is available on PCs and mobile devices, including in browsers, worldwide and the Bleach Echoes in the Blue Hollow event and characters will appear between July 22, 2026 and August 3, 2026. It’s unknown if and when we could see it in the global version. Viz Media handles the Bleach manga outside Japan, and the anime can be found on Disney+ and Hulu, and the final season 4 episodes will start streaming on July 25, 2026.
