A lot’s going on with Granblue Fantasy. Cygames announced it will start a brief Granblue Fantasy Relink: Endless Ragnarok open beta test period on April 24, 2026. The over seven-minute-long opening movie debuted online too. You won’t have to pay to watch some of the Granblue Fantasy: The Animation anime adaptation on Crunchyroll as well, as basically the first half of the first season is temporarily free on Cygames’ YouTube channel again. Finally, the digital version of the first volume of the manga will also be free to read briefly too.

Basically, Cygames is giving us a four-day weekend with Granblue Fantasy Relink: Endless Ragnarok via this open beta test. This will be held on the Switch 2, PS4, PS5, and PC. It will feature four quests total for us to test, and we can do those alone or with others. Cross-play will be posible, as will Summons, Full Bursts, and Primal Bursts. Cygames did note that performance could occasionally be spotty, since this is a network load test for them.

As for the opening movie, you can see that here:

If you want to watch Granblue Fantasy: The Animation, the anime is free to watch via Cygames until July 31, 2026. That features Japanese voice acting and subtitles in languages like English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish. The digital first volume of the manga will also be available to read via Kodansha between April 17, 2026 and July 31, 2026 too.

Here’s the first episode of the anime adaptation:
