Spike Chunsoft are working on a tactical RPG called Grand Kingdom that looks similar to Grand Knights History but with a bit more of a strategic touch. The game’s latest trailer shows more of its characters and bits of gameplay footage.
Grand Kingdom takes place in a fantasy world that is full of sword and magic, and you’ll be sending mercenaries out into combat. Battles are turn-based, but a lot of its strategic factors will come from how you position allies in combat.
The game’s online features will revolve around having players go up against others from the four main faction, and will feature territory-expanding elements, where you’ll get to attack and defend yourself from enemy invasions.
Grand Kingdom will release in Japan on November 19th for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
