Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas tops the charts in Japan

Last week Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was finally released in Japan with Capcom as the game’s publisher. Instead of limping along like some US made games, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was the number one selling game for the week with 227,261 copies of the PS2 game in the hands of gamers. In comparison, Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker, the number two game, sold 103,706 copies sold and Picross DS, which was also released last week only managed to sell 71,794 copies.
