Following the recent new trailer which showed off story elements and anime segments in Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time, new screenshots and systems were released and detailed by Bandai Namco. This includes a boss and information on how Akko and her friends can become stronger.

Boss Monster: Grantrent, Guardian of the Lost Woods

Grantrent has been rooted in the forest since days yonder and is supposedly 10,000 years old in terms of tree age. It has tried to cover up its weak spots in its face, chest, and leg for the past 5,000 years without success.

Bandai Namco also released screenshots of Mimosa Forest, the stage where Grantrent resides. Monsters from the anime, such as the cockatrice and mandrake, will appear in this game as well.

At the end of a dungeon, if you survived, you gain EXP and items. EXP helps you level up, which will unlock new magic spells and increase your stats.

Learning new spells, as well as improving spells, is done through the ‘Horoscope System’. By opening up the stars with the ‘Magic Points’ gained when leveling up, you will be able to learn new spells. As your fill out the constellation, the magic will become stronger.

There are six stats to improve, similar to other games of this genre. While VIT, STR and INT are self-explanatory, AGI helps increase the amount of critical hits and helps avoid criticals. LUK helps increase drop rates.

There are five types of equipment: Wands, Ring (Right hand), Ring (Left hand), Bracelet, and Necklace. There are 7 ranks, from S to F, which affect how much stats increase.

Rashmi (left): Rajani’s twin sister. She really likes Sora, and fights over Sora with her sister. She uses advanced synthesis, and speaks mysteriously.

Sora (middle): She’s an introverted girl who hates how shy she is. She has the type of body which can spontaneously combust, and Rashmi and Rajani watch over her to make sure she isn’t catching fire.
