Gruesome Survival Horror Game Outlast Is Getting A Sequel

Indie studio Red Barrels has confirmed that it is working on a sequel to its hit survival horror game Outlast.

The news comes from an interview that Bloody Disgusting conducted with Red Barrels co-founder Philippe Morin.

“[W]e are working on Outlast 2,” Morin revealed. “The game will be a survival horror experience and it will take place in the same universe as Outlast, but it will have different characters and a different setting.”

Morin also said that, as Red Barrels is still only 12 people, some time will be needed before Outlast 2 will be ready to release.

While you’re waiting it might be worth checking out the original Outlast if you haven’t already. It’s available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
