Shadow Bug gives players control of a lethal little insect, sending a ninja bug hurtling into opponents with the click of a mouse. However, they’ll have to plan how to platform through the game’s puzzling environments using the bug’s aggressive strikes.
A click is enough to make the bug strike whichever enemy the player is hovering the mouse over in Shadow Bug. The game’s bleak world isn’t just a string of enemies they can easily kill, though, as it is filled with spikes, crushing cogs, and dangerous machines. Players will have to time their attacks to get through these hazards, either by striking at the right time to leap over them, or by rushing ahead within split-second openings.
Shadow Bug will take players through an array of twisted, violent locations across its thirty-six stages. Every few stages will pit the player against a puzzle-like boss, forcing players to avoid even more dangerous mechanisms while looking to land one of their powerful strikes to end the fight.
