Tactics Ogre and Vagrant Story designer Yasumi Matsuno recently moved over to Level-5 and his first game with the company behind Professor Layton will be Guild 01. Matsuno isn’t the only designer on the Nintendo 3DS project, Goichi Suda from Grasshopper Manufacture and Seaman (pictured) creator Yoot Saito are also tied to the project. Each developer created their own game for Guild 01.
Matsuno’s game is "Crimson Shroud", which is described by Famitsu as an adventure RPG with a dark fantasy setting. Saito’s contribution is "Air Porter" a simulation game where you play as a porter and handle luggage. If you do a good job the airport will grow. Suda51 is creating "Maiden Liberation" a 3D shooting game where you control a humanoid robot that attacks beasts. Animation studio Bones will create scenes for "Maiden Liberation."
The final game in the compilation is "Weapon Rental Shop de Omasse" by Yoshiyuki Hirai who is part of the Japanese comedy duo America Zarigani. In this game, players create weapons to rent to adventurers.
Guild 01 is slated for release on Nintendo 3DS in 2012.
