It was announced in early October that Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R would be implementing rollback. This feature will decrease the delay for inputs in the fighting game. The public beta testing period for Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R began on October 29, 2020. This offer is exclusive to users that have purchased Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R on Steam.

The official Arc System Works website details how Steam users can access the public beta test. This involves navigating some menus and selecting the right options in order to mark yourself eligible to participate.

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R is currently available for the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. Arc System Works also released the game for arcades in Japan and worldwide for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox 360.
