Gundam Seed Freedom Z’Gok Gunpla Boxart Revealed

Bandai Spirits revealed the final boxart for its upcoming High Grade Gunpla model kit of the ZGMF-MM07 Z’Gok from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom. The new boxart is inspired by an official poll that the same company held in 2024.

The poll ran started on July 29, 2024, and it was live until August 25, 2024. Bandai Spirits picked six still images featuring the Z’Gok from the anime movie as candidates, but it ultimately let the public choose their preferred image. The poll ended with 54,866 votes counted. The Gundam SEED Freedom Gunpla boxart illustrator Naochika Morishita would then produce a boxart design based on the winning image.

Here is a comparison between the original anime still that became the poll’s winner and the resulting Gunpla boxart:

A more elaborate reveal trailer of the boxart is also available via Bandai Hobby Site’s official X account:

Gundam SEED Freedom originally appeared in theaters, but it has since been made available online via Netflix and Prime Video in select countries and territories worldwide. Following its successful launch, Sunrise is newly working on a prequel titled Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom Zero.

The 1/144 High Grade Gunpla model kit of the ZGMF-MM07 Z’Gok from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom will be available on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
