In October 2021, Koch Media revealed several Japanese voice actors will return to reprise their roles in Gungrave G.O.R.E. Among them are Tomokazu Seki, who will voice Brandon “Beyond the Grave” Heat, and Fumihiko Tachiki, who voiced Bunji Kugashira. Composers Tetsuya Shibata and Yoshino Aoki will create music for the action game.

Gungrave G.O.R.E. was originally announced in 2018. It had a scheduled 2019 release. The game was subsequently delayed until 2020 to create a “cooler game.” However, updates on Gungrave G.O.R.E. remained scarce. No new information about the game appeared until 2021, which was after the expected 2020 window of release passed.

A cinematic trailer was shown, which included designs by Ikumi Nakamura who formerly worked for Capcom and Tango Gameworks. In a developer interview, Nakamura talked about adding her signature touch to the designs that will appear in the game.

Gungrave G.O.R.E. will release for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in Fall 2022.
