Sony Computer Entertainment Japan announced they will release new PlayStation 2 classics every month starting on July 25. When will the next round of games come out?
August 22, says Sega. That’s when Dynamite Deka better known here as Die Hard Arcade, the Sega Ages re-release, will be available on the PlayStation Store. One neat addition in the PS2 version is Altered Beast mode where you can play through the game as the wolf.
Gunstar Heroes: Treasure Box collection is set for re-release on September 19. It’s really a Treasure (the developer) collection since Dynamite Headdy and Alien Soldier. The PS2 version has some neat features like the ability to play the Japanese and English versions of the game plus another unreleased version of Gunstar Heroes with alternate English text. There’s also a gallery packed with 100 pages of concept art to flip through. Gunstar Heroes: Treasure Box is pretty hard to find in Japan with used copies going for twice the value of the game’s original 2,500 yen price.
Dragon Force, a direct port of the Sega Saturn game, comes out first.
