Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX Announced For Switch, Starring Copen

Inti Creates announced the development of a new Switch title Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX at indie game show BitSummit Vol. 6. The game features Gunvolt’s arch-rival Copen as the hero.

Luminous Avenger iX is a new title as part of the Gunvolt series, which started out as a Nintendo 3DS eShop title Azure Striker Gunvolt back in 2014, followed by a sequel Azure Striker Guvolt 2 in 2016.

In Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX, the Gunvolt series anti-hero Copen takes the starring role. Inti Creates says they’re currently hard at work on this project centering around the popular character from the Gunvolt universe. More details are to be announced this summer.
