It now costs $29.99 to get into Hades 2 and play during Early Access. It is only available for Windows PCs. However, someone with a Steam Deck will be able to play, as it is verified for Valve’s handheld. It will also be “some months following our initial launch” before the first major update arrives. However, the developer plans to release patches every few months.

Supergiant also stressed in the announcement and early product pages that Hades 2 is a work in progress. As such, there will be some not-final assets present in the build people are getting. However, as time passes, more finalized pieces of content and  additional elements will be added. The company also noted people can leave feedback on Steam forums, in the official Discord, and just by playing as we can opt in to send data from sessions to the developer.

Here’s the latest trailer for it:

In addition to the game being in early access, the Hades 2 soundtrack is also available. People can buy it for $9.99 on Steam. It is composed by Darren Korb, just like the original Hades and other Supergiant games like Transistor. The soundtrack consists of 30 songs at the moment.

Hades 2 is available in Early Access for the Windows PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
