Nippon Ichi is working on an interesting new game called Hakoniwa Company Works, a game that combines a Minecraft-style sandbox game with strategy RPG elements. Here are new screenshots from its product page on Amazon Japan.
As previously detailed, the game takes place in a world called “Cloud’s End” that is home to countless islands that float in the sky. Each of these islands have their own culture, and you’ll work as part of a “Company” responsible for connecting them through requests.
The game offers various job classes that range from battle classes to those that specialize in excavating, and it’ll be up to you to use them strategically according to your given situations.
Characters will get items to match their skillsets, for example some can wield weapons used for battles while others use shovels and pickaxes for gathering. You’ll also get to craft buildings and furniture by using material blocks. There’s also a feature that lets you power up characters based on the type of buildings you have and their interiors.
Hakoniwa Company Works releases in Japan on July 13, 2017 for PlayStation 4.
