Idea Factory International is bringing Hakuoki to PCs. Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds will be coming to Steam. It will debut in Summer 2017.

Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds is a localization of Hakuoki Shinkai: Kaze no Shou, an updated retelling of the original story. It is also part one of a two part story, as when Idea Factory expanded on this Otomate game by adding new bachelors, it also broke the original storyline into two parts. This entry covers Chizuru’s time with the Shinsengumi in Kyoto, while Hakuoki Shinkai: Hana no Sho covers everything that happens in Edo.

Some of the PC version’s features have been revealed. Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds will have “updated graphics” when played on a Windows PC. It will also have Japanese voice acting with English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese language options.

Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds is immediately available on the PlayStation Vita.
